As a Chicago Wedding Photographer, I have gotten to witness firsthand the different ways couples meet. Whether it’s through a random friend or through a dating app, the stories never get old. In Gabby and Kyle’s case, their love story began at a college bar. It was from there that their relationship only continued to grow. So much so, that Gabby’s nephews began calling Kyle “Uncle”. It wasn’t until a few years into their relationship, on the side of a cliff off the Grand Canyon that Kyle was to pop the question. Now, we’re here with Gabby and Kyle taking their Nature Boardwalk Chicago Engagement Photos and it couldn’t have been more magical.
Gabby & Kyle’s Nature Boardwalk Chicago Engagement Photos
For Gabby and Kyle’s Chicago engagement session, we decided to hit up the Nature Boardwalk inside the Lincoln Park Zoo. The Nature Boardwalk is a natural, prairie-style garden filled with plants, birds, turtles, fish, and a plethora of other wildlife. It’s a great oasis from all of the hustle and bustle of the busy city while still being close to many of Chicago’s greatest attractions. It was the perfect place for Gabby and Kyle’s Chicago engagement photos and the greenery this day was just phenomenal.
Throughout my years as a Chicago Wedding Photographer, I have been able to tweak my photography style to best fit my idea of storytelling. Letting my couple’s love unfold in front of me is the best way that I’ve found to capture my couple’s true and authentic selves. That is why, the whole reason behind documentary-style photography to begin with is to let things unfold naturally. I am basically your glorified fly-on-the-wall photographer. Gabby and Kyle walked in sync with one another and their love radiated. It’s true what they say, love comes in many different forms and stories. This was Gabby and Kyles.
