Sarah and Eric’s candid Chicago wedding day was full of real love and a lot of fun. From the start, their laid-back, easygoing nature set the tone for the day. Laughter and excitement filled the morning as family and friends gathered to help Sarah and Eric get ready. There was no pressure for perfection—just a sense of community and anticipation as they shared jokes, stories, and the kind of support that only close loved ones could bring. Above all, it felt like a warm gathering of friends more than a formal wedding, and that made everything even more special.
After the emotional ceremony, Sarah and Eric showed just how fun-loving they really are by heading to an arcade with their bridal party. It was a perfect way to celebrate, ditching the usual formalities for a lighthearted round of games, laughter, and friendly competition. They battled it out over air hockey and shot hoops, creating a relaxed, joyful vibe that perfectly reflected their personalities. But the day wasn’t finished—Eric had one last surprise for Sarah. At the reception, he played an instrument for her, adding a personal and heartfelt touch that caught everyone off guard. The look on Sarah’s face said it all.
From spontaneous laughter to those quiet, meaningful moments shared between the couple and their loved ones, this wedding wasn’t about picture-perfect details. It was about authentic love, real emotions, and a couple who knew how to have a good time. Their candid Chicago wedding day was truly a reflection of who Sarah and Eric are—genuine, fun, and full of surprises.
A Special Shoutout
Lastly, a special shoutout goes to my photo assistant team, Sarah McLimore, and Hanako Maki for helping me make this day happen! As a combo photographer AND bridesmaid for my dear friend’s wedding, I could not have done this dual role without their support all day long!

Kind Words
“Take it from a fellow wedding photographer — HIRE EMMA. She is truly such a light in this industry & goes above and beyond to serve her couples. She brings out the best in everyone she’s around. II’ve watched her bend over backwards for her clients on every wedding day I’ve shot with her. She is the real deal and one of the best people I’ve ever worked with. She is the perfect balance between direction when needed and being a fly on the wall. Capturing us in our element. Our final gallery absolutely blew us away!! Everything was PERFECT!! We cannot recommend Emma enough!!”
