Natalie & Steve’s Kimpton Gray Hotel Chicago Wedding

Natalie and Steve’s main goal throughout their entire wedding day was to be able to capture those special moments. While getting married in itself is a special moment, the in-between and raw reactions are what makes it all the more special. Memories like Natalie’s dad walking her down the aisle and being announced husband & wife to name a few. Part of what makes documentary-style wedding photography such a beautiful thing is that telling your story is never really staged. Everything is more organic and in the moment which allows for more emotion to surface.

Throughout Natalie and Steve’s wedding day, we were able to explore little bits of Chicago that were one of the many things they were wanting. We explored the city, documented the realness, and got these two married in a beautiful ceremony. We enjoyed a brief cocktail hour at Boleo, The Kimpton Gray Hotel’s rooftop bar. Their reception was just as magical as the rest of their wedding day, spent throwing our hands up and shaking our booties until we couldn’t anymore. 10/10 wedding day if you ask me!
